Built for business owners
Barratt Law was established to support Australian small and medium enterprises — the backbone of the economy.
I grew up in a family business and have seen firsthand the pressure of running a business: managing cash flow, negotiating contracts, dealing with uncertainty and risk.
Over the past 20 years — across private practice and in-house roles — I have advised clients ranging from ASX-listed companies and financial institutions to family businesses and start-ups.
That experience shapes how I work.
My focus is simple: practical, commercially grounded advice that helps you run your business with confidence.
-
I qualified with a BA LLB in South Africa in 2002, and, after completing my articles of clerkship, I qualified as a lawyer, notary and conveyancer in 2006.
Being a serial student, I also completed the NQF Level 9 coursework towards a Masters Degree in Corporate and Commercial Law, and I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning.
I later qualified as an Australian solicitor, and was duly admitted as a lawyer in New South Wales and also in Western Australia.
“Barratt Law gave us confidence that our interests were fully protected before entering the deal.”
